Nephrotic syndrome is a kidney disorder. It results in a group of symptoms that indicate kidney disease, damage to the filters of the kidneys where the blood is purified, and result in the excretion of too much protein from the body.

The tiny blood vessels in the kidneys continuously work to eliminate waste and other substances from the blood. The filtered waste is then transported to the bladder and ultimately leaves the body in the form of urine. Such vessels of the kidneys are known to be the glomerular(s). Glomeruli help essential nutrients to stay in the blood and eliminate digestion waste.

When the kidneys are damaged, they are not able to retain the protein in the body. This is called nephrotic syndrome.

This condition of nephrotic syndrome indicates that the kidneys are not functioning appropriately. The symptoms include:

? Excess protein in the urine, called proteinuria
? Low levels of a protein called albumin in the blood, called hypoalbuminemia
? Swelling in parts of the body, called edema
? High levels of cholesterol and other lipids (fats) in the blood, called hyperlipidemia

If left undiagnosed or untreated, the condition of the nephrotic syndrome will progressively damage the glomeruli to cause a fall in GFR, resulting in renal failure.

This disease is an alarming condition and requires immediate treatment. Ayurveda treatment can help you to get rid of nephrotic syndrome.
